Paper Bag Apple Pie

  1. Prepare pie crust according to recipe or package directions. In a large bowl, toss apples with sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, lemon juice and seasonings until well coated.
  2. Spoon into pie shell.
  3. In small bowl, combine 1/2 cup flour and brown sugar.
  4. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
  5. Place pie in large brown, heavy-duty paper bag.
  6. Fold open end over twice.
  7. Seal with large paper clips.
  8. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  9. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
