Grand Fashioned

  1. Muddle the sugar, bitters, and oranges in the bottom of a mixing glass.
  2. Add the Grand Marnier and juice.
  3. Add enough large cold ice cubes to fit in a rocks glass and shake hard but briefly.
  4. Pour all the unstrained liquid into a rocks glass and serve.
  5. Dominant Flavors: blood oranges
  6. Body: full, rich-textured
  7. Dryness: sweet
  8. Complexity: medium to high
  9. Accentuating or Contrasting Flavors: bitters add depth and richness
  10. Finish: medium with blood orange overtones
  11. Glass: rocks
