- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 1/2 ounces Lairds bonded apple brandy (be certain its the bonded version)
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce Galliano liqueur
- 2 dashes St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
- Pinch ground nutmeg
- Make the syrup: Combine the sugar, cinnamon and 1 cup water in a small pan over medium heat.
- Let simmer about 15 minutes.
- Strain.
- Allow syrup to cool before using.
- (Can be refrigerated.)
- Mix the drink: In a shaker with ice, put 3/4 ounce of the cinnamon syrup with the apple brandy, lemon juice, liqueur and allspice dram.
- Shake.
- Double strain into chilled cocktail glass.
- Dust with nutmeg.
