Smoked Ham Recipe
- 1 (14 lb.) fully cooked smoked whole ham
- 1 (20 ounce.) can crushed pineapple, liquid removed
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
- Place ham on rack in open roasting pan.
- Side with most fat face up.
- Bake ham at 325 degrees for 3 1/2 to 4 hrs (about 15-18 min per lb.).
- If ham browns too quickly, cover with a tent of foil.
- Thirty min before ham is done, prepare pineapple glaze.
- In medium sized bowl mix crushed pineapple, brown sugar, and mustard till blended.
- Remove ham from oven with spoon.
- Proportionately pat pineapple glaze on ham.
- Garnish with pineapple slices and maraschino cherries.
- Bake for 25 min longer.
- Let ham set for 15 min, then slice.
