German Potato Salad

  1. Fry bacon until crisp.
  2. Remove from pan, drain and crumble.
  3. Add flour and onion to the bacon fat left in the pan.
  4. Stir in vinegar, water, sugar, salt and spices.
  5. Cook only until mixture is of medium thickness.
  6. Add to potatoes, parsley and crumbled bacon.
  7. Mix carefully to prevent mashing the potatoes.
