Easy Sweet Potato Biscuits (Scones)

  1. Sift dry ingredients.
  2. Add shortening and potato and mix thoroughly.
  3. Knead dough; cut with biscuit cutter or cut into triangles, (you may need more flour, as dough is sticky).
  4. Bake in 400F (200C) oven 12 to 15 minutes.
  5. Glaze if desired.
