Lentil Chilli

  1. Place the lentils in a large saucepan with kidney beans and cover with twice the volume of boiling water.
  2. Put remaining ingredients in a food processor and whiz together (or chop by hand)
  3. Add rest of ingredients, season to taste and simmer on very low heat for 40 minutes or until cooked.
  4. Then I just add tabasco to taste, it depends on what kind of chillis used and how many.
