Cabbage and smoked sausage

  1. Melt butter in a good size pan that would accommodate all of the ingredients.
  2. Cut cabbage into one or two inch pieces.
  3. Cut the onion in half and then slice into short pieces.
  4. Cut the smoked sausage into bite-size pieces on the bias
  5. Once the butter has melted add the cabbage and onions.
  6. Cook on medium high heat until the cabbage is soft.
  7. Add the can of tomato sauce and the smoked sausage.
  8. Cover and cook 25 - 30 minutes.
  9. Stir occasionally.
