Spiced Apple Rings

  1. Wash and core apples; slice unpeeled apples into thick slices.
  2. Place in flat pan.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients, and boil 5 minutes.
  4. Reserve 1/4 cup juice mixture, and set aside.
  5. Pour remaining juice mixture over apple slices.
  6. Bake at 350F (180C) for 45 minutes or until apple slices appear transparent; baste occasionally with the 1/4 cup juice mixture.
  7. Serve Hot or Cold as a garnish for your Salad.
  8. Or by itself.
