Ham & Cheese Muffins

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C (395 degrees F).
  2. Sift the flour with the baking powder.
  3. Add black pepper and set aside.
  4. Whisk together the milk and the eggs, dice the ham and grate the cheese, then combine everything together.
  5. Add the sunflower seeds to the flour, pour in the milk mixture and combine everything really well using a wooden spoon.
  6. Let the batter stand for about 5 minutes, then line the muffin tin with muffin liners (you will get 15 muffins).
  7. Pour in the batter and bake in the preheated oven for about 1820 minutes (do the toothpick test).
  8. Serve slightly cooled with a salad of your choice.
