Ham & Cheese Muffins
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 3 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 18 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Diced Ham
- 1 cup Shredded Gouda Cheese
- 3 Tablespoons Roasted Sunflower Seeds
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C (395 degrees F).
- Sift the flour with the baking powder.
- Add black pepper and set aside.
- Whisk together the milk and the eggs, dice the ham and grate the cheese, then combine everything together.
- Add the sunflower seeds to the flour, pour in the milk mixture and combine everything really well using a wooden spoon.
- Let the batter stand for about 5 minutes, then line the muffin tin with muffin liners (you will get 15 muffins).
- Pour in the batter and bake in the preheated oven for about 1820 minutes (do the toothpick test).
- Serve slightly cooled with a salad of your choice.
