Asparagus With Mustard Sauce Recipe
- 2 1/2 lb Trimmed asparagus
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine
- 3 x Flour
- 1 c. Chicken broth
- 1 c. Skim lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Fresh lemon juice
- 1 dsh Wht pepper
- Heat margarine in med.
- saucepan.
- Stir in flour, cook 1 minutes.
- Add in broth and lowfat milk, stirring constantly w/ whisk.
- Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer for 5 mins.
- Remove from heat and whisk in mustard, lemon juice and white pepper.
- Keep hot while cooking asparagus- do not boil.
- RECIPES 68 cal 1.4 fat gm.
