Branscum's Brunswick Stew Recipe
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 6 med. potatoes, minced
- 1 pound can early peas, liquid removed
- 1 pound can carrots, liquid removed
- 1 c. onion, minced
- 1 pound can liquid removed lima beans
- 1 pound can whole kernel corn
- Cut 1 lb.
- stew beef into bite size pcs.
- Place in 6 to 8 qt kettle with 4 chicken breast.
- Cover with water.
- Simmer over low heat for 45 min.
- Add in 2 tsp.
- salt.
- Cover.
- Continue cooking till chicken comes off bones easily.
- Remove chicken.
- Remove skin and bones, cut into bite size pcs and return to kettle.
- Add in:
tomato soup, potatoes, early peas, carrots, onion, liquid removed lima beans, whole kernel corn
