Branscum's Brunswick Stew Recipe

  1. Cut 1 lb.
  2. stew beef into bite size pcs.
  3. Place in 6 to 8 qt kettle with 4 chicken breast.
  4. Cover with water.
  5. Simmer over low heat for 45 min.
  6. Add in 2 tsp.
  7. salt.
  8. Cover.
  9. Continue cooking till chicken comes off bones easily.
  10. Remove chicken.
  11. Remove skin and bones, cut into bite size pcs and return to kettle.
  12. Add in:

tomato soup, potatoes, early peas, carrots, onion, liquid removed lima beans, whole kernel corn
