Pork Chops With Apples

  1. Cut leeks lengthwise in half to wash them good.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the oil heavy skillet and brown chops well on both sides.
  4. Remove from pan and set aside.
  5. Add onion to skillet and brown well.
  6. Return pork chops to pan and simmer for 15 minutes on each side.
  7. Meanwhile, wash leeks well and cut into slices lengthwise.
  8. Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Add leeks and brown lightly.
  9. Stir in green pepper and apples. Season with paprika. Add salt and pepper to taste.tover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes. Serve the vegetables on the side with the pork chops.
