Oriental Cabbage Salad
- 1 pkg. (3 oz.) Oriental noodles (chicken)
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 4 spring onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp. sesame seed
- 3 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- Crush noodles slightly.
- Place in colander, pour boiling water over noodles to soften.
- Drain well.
- In a large bowl combine noodles, cabbage, onions and sesame seed.
- For dressing, in screw-top jar combine seasoning from noodles, vinegar, sugar, oil, pepper and salt.
- Shake to mix well.
- Pour over cabbage mixture and chill overnight.
- Stir in almonds before serving.
