Butter Almond Classic Cookies Recipe

  1. In a large bowl, beat I Cannot BELIEVE IT'S NOT BUTTER!
  2. with 1/2 c. sugar till light and fluffy.
  3. Add in almond extract.
  4. Sift flour and gradually add in to mix.
  5. Add in almonds and mix together till a dough forms.
  6. Shape dough into a ball, seal in plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour.
  7. Heat oven to 350'F.
  8. Divide dough into 8 pcs.
  9. Lightly flour hands and work surface.
  10. Share each piece into a 1/2" thick roll.
  11. Cut each roll into 2" pcs.
  12. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheets and shape each into a crescent, tapering the ends by gently pinching them.
  13. Bake 18-20 min or possibly till very lightly brown.
  14. Cold cookies; dust with sifted remaining sugar.
  15. Store in airtight container.
