No-Bake Chewy Granola Bars

  1. Combine brown sugar, honey, vanilla and butter in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Lower heat and then simmer for 2 more minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Cool completely.
  5. Meanwhile, combine the granola, coconut, raisins, 1/2 cup chocolate chips and almonds in a large bowl.
  6. Stir the brown sugar mixture into the granola mixture.
  7. Spread out in a 13x9 baking pan.
  8. Press the remaining chocolate chips on the top.
  9. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  10. Cut into 36 bars.
