Green Beans with Pine Nuts

  1. In a saucepan, bring enough water to cover the beans to a rolling boil.
  2. Add the beans and salt.
  3. Cook until tender, 6 to 7 minutes, then drain well.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter with the oil.
  5. Add the beans and nuts to the pan and toss together.
  6. Serve at once.
