Toasted Camembert, Walnut And Fig Tartine

  1. Preheat the broiler (grill) to a high setting.
  2. Lightly toast the bread.
  3. Spread the fig jam on top, cover with the Camembert and then sprinkle the walnuts and a little black pepper over the tartine.
  4. Place under the broiler for 34 minutes or until the cheese begins to melt.
  5. Serve immediately.
