Budget-Friendly Japanese Leek Hot Pot

  1. Add the marked ingredients into a food processor and process until fully combined.
  2. Thinly slice the Japanese leeks diagonally.
  3. Add marked ingredients in a hot pot and bring to a boil.
  4. When boiling, shape the chicken mixture from Step 1 into small balls add to the pot.
  5. When the balls start to float, add the Japanese leeks!
  6. Cover with a lid and cook until the leeks are very soft.
  7. Enjoy with ponzu sauce.
  8. Add ra-yu (hot sesame oil) if you'd like.
