Classic Oatmeal Muffins

  1. - PREHEAT oven to 400
  2. - BUTTER muffin pan
  3. - COMBINE: flour, sugars, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg
  4. - In separate bowl STIR milk, egg, and butter into the oatmeal and BLEND well.
  5. - COMBINE the two mixtures and mix well
  6. - SPOON into each muffin cup, 2/3 full (maybe a smidge more)
  7. TOP with a few oats, just for prettiness :-)
  8. BAKE for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry
