Creme Cheese Fruit Cake Recipe

  1. Cream the cream cheese and shortening.
  2. Add in sugar and cream till light and fluffy.
  3. Add in egg whites one at a time, beating well after each.
  4. Sift together dry ingredients.
  5. Combine lowfat milk, wine and flavoring.
  6. Add in sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mix alternately with liquid.
  7. Add in 1/2 c. flour to nuts and canned fruit, then fold into cake batter.
  8. Bake in 2 well-greased loaf pans at 275 degrees for 1 hour.
  9. 2 loaves.
