Grammy's Mashed Potato Casserole

• 1 teaspoon garlic salt
• 14 teaspoon pepper
• 12 cup sour cream
• 2 12-3 lbs baking potatoes
• 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
• paprika (to garnish)
• 3 ounces softened cream cheese

1. Stir together cream cheese, garlic salt, pepper, and sour cream until smooth.
2. Set aside.
3. Prepare and boil quartered potatoes, drain.
4. Mash into fine lumps.
5. Combine potatoes and sour cream mixture.
6. beat until smooth.
7. Transfer into well buttered dish & bake covered at 400 degrees for 25 minutes If dish is refrigerated 50 minutes.
8. Uncover & bake for 10 addition minutes to achieve golden brown.
