Elaine's thick and meaty spaghetti sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb bulk italian sausage
- 1 medium green bell peper,chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 cloves of garlic,minced
- 3 can (14 1/2 oz )italian diced tomatoes,drained
- 2 can (15oz)each tomatoe sauce
- 2 can (6oz each) tomato paste
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 spaghetti or noodles of choice
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- Brown ground beef and sausage,drain off grease.put into 5quart crockpot.
- Add all other ingredients except noodles.
- Cook on low for8hours
- Makes 12 servings
