Frankfurter Spaghetti Casserole
- 1/3 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. frankfurters
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. Pet milk
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. cheese (American), grated
- 3/4 c. spaghetti, cooked and broken
- 1 c. buttered bread crumbs
- In skillet, cook bell pepper and onion in margarine until tender.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in flour, oregano, salt, pepper, then water.
- Add milk, Worcestershire and cheese.
- Stir over low heat until thick.
- Cut frankfurters into pennies and add them with spaghetti to sauce.
- Put into greased 1-quart casserole.
- Top with buttered bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
