Baked Goose With Wine Sauce Recipe

  1. Cover prunes with chicken broth.
  2. Cook till tender.
  3. Drain and remove seeds from prunes.
  4. Saute/fry onion in butter.
  5. Cook sausage, drain and crumble.
  6. Combine all ingredients and stuff goose.
  7. Run goose with oil and bake at 350 for 3-4 hrs or possibly till tender.
  8. Baste occasionally with drippings.
  9. WINE
  10. SAUCE: Boil stock down to 2 c.. Add in remaining ingredients, except flour.
  11. Heat thoroughly, add in flour to thicken and simmer 5 min.
