Simple Rice-Cooker Polenta With Green Peas
- 1 cup polenta or 1 cup cornmeal
- 3 cups water
- 2 -3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 12 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup frozen green pea
- Place the polenta, water, and bullion in your rice cooker.
- Select the Porridge setting and start it going.
- When the polenta is done, stir in the cheese and frozen peas.
- Stir well to mix.
- That's all there is to it!
- Just a couple of tips: Add the peas and cheese as soon as the polenta is done, so it's hot enough to melt the cheese.
- Make sure the peas are still frozen, and the heat of the polenta will cook them perfectly.
