Mashed Potato Pie
- 1 12 lbs ground turkey
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 12 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 12 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt
- pepper
- 1 lb hash brown, frozen
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 34 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
- Preheat the oven to 350.
- In a big bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients; mix gently but well.
- In a 10-inch pie plate, press turkey mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the pie plate to fashion a shell.
- Top with hash browns and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake 40 minutes or until meat is thoroughly cooked; top with cheese and bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
