Fluffy Potato Cakes

  1. Cut the green onions into small pieces and thinly slice the chikuwa.
  2. Grate the potatoes and onion.
  3. Put into a bowl, add the egg and flour and mix together.
  4. Add Step 1, the salt, and the pepper.
  5. Mix together.
  6. Put about 1 cm of oil in a frying pan and turn the heat up to medium.
  7. Put a ladle of Step 2 into the frying pan, shape into a patty, and slowly fry on both sides until crispy.
  8. Transfer to a plate and top as you like with ketchup and mayonnaise.
