Rum Sauce For Bread Pudding Recipe
- 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 c. whole lowfat milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 teaspoon rum flavor (add in more, if you like)
- 3 drops yellow food color
- In heavy saucepan, add in lowfat milk, sugar, and butter.
- Cook till warm over medium-high heat.
- Dissolve cornstarch in small amount of water and add in to warm mix.
- Stir till thickens.
- Remove from heat and add in rum flavor and food color.
- Serve over bread pudding.
