Rich Stir-fried Pork Belly and Nagaimo Yam with Oyster Sauce
- 150 grams Thinly sliced pork belly
- 10 cm-length, medium-thickness Nagaimo Yam
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp Chinese stock powder
- 1 as required Chopped spring onion
- Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces and slice the yamaimo yam into thin batons.
- Combine the seasonings.
- Heat a little of vegetable oil ( not included in the ingredients list) and fry the pork.
- When its colour is changed add the nagaimo yam and fry.
- After the pork and yamaimo yam are fried add the seasonings combined at Step 2 and stir well.
- Transfer to a serving dish.
- Garnish with chopped spring onion if you like.
- It is optional.
