Cheryls Kicked Up Queso
- 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese (1/2 Block)
- 1 whole Mexican Chorizo Sausage Link, Cooked And Drained
- 4 ounces, weight Sliced Olives (small Can)
- 10 ounces, weight Rotel (1 Can)
- 4 ounces, weight Green Chilis Chopped (small Can)
- 16 ounces, weight Velveeta (Medium-Sized Loaf)
- 1/4 whole White Or Yellow Onion, Diced
- 1 cup Grated Cheddar
- Cholula Hot Sauce, To Taste
- 1 bag Fritos Scoops
- Saute the onions briefly in a scant bit of olive oil until softened.
- Remove and saute the chorizo until done.
- Carefully remove the meat, leaving the red fat behind.
- Place the onions and chorizo in the vessel you will use for your queso dip.
- Add in the remaining ingredients, stir till well melted.
- Add Cholula to taste for the heat factor.
- Serve with Fritos Scoops chips.
