Bowties in Sausage Cream Sauce

  1. In a large pot, boil the pasta until al dente; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat the oil and cook the sausage and red pepper flakes until the sausage is done.
  3. Stir in the onion and garlic until the onion is tender.
  4. Add the drained tomatoes, basil, salt and cream.
  5. Simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes, until the sauce is thickened a bit.
  6. Stir the sauce into the cooked pasta.
  7. Serve!
