Spicy Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

  1. Place the onion and habanero pepper in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Rub the outside of the roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  3. Pour the Dr. Pepper and barbecue sauce over the pork and cook on high 4-5 hours or on low 7-8 hours
  4. The meat will be very tender.
  5. Using 2 forks, shred the pork and place back in the juices.
  6. Add barbecue sauce to taste.
  7. Allow to cook an additional 30-60 minutes if desired.
  8. Serve on crusty rolls with cole slaw if desired.
