Chocolate Glazed Brownie Squares
- 1 pkg. (225 g) Baker's Unsweetened Chocolate, divided
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup Nabob Espresso Coffee
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- 2 cups Cool Whip Whipped Topping (Do not thaw.)
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides.
- Spray with cooking spray.
- Microwave 4 oz.
- chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
- or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is well blended.
- Stir in sugar.
- Blend in eggs, coffee and vanilla.
- Add flour and nuts; mix well.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake 30 to 32 min.
- or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out with fudgy crumbs (do not over bake).
- Cool completely.
- Microwave remaining chocolate and Cool Whip in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min.
- or until glaze is smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Pour over brownies.
- Refrigerate 15 min.
- or until glaze is set.
- Use foil handles to remove brownies from pan before cutting into 1-inch squares.
