Tzatziki Burgers

  1. Heat barbecue to medium heat.
  2. Cut cucumber crosswise in half.
  3. Cut one piece lengthwise in half; shred the flesh.
  4. (You should have about 1/2 cup shredded cucumber.)
  5. Cut remaining cucumber piece into 16 slices.
  6. Cut onion crosswise in half; cut one piece into thin slices, then finely chop remaining piece.
  7. Mix cream cheese product and milk until well blended.
  8. Combine meat, chopped onions, 2 Tbsp.
  9. dill, garlic and 1/4 cup cream cheese mixture just until blended.
  10. Shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  11. Grill 6 to 7 min.
  12. on each side or until done (160 degrees F), adding buns to the barbecue for the last 2 min.
  13. to toast cut sides.
  14. Meanwhile, mix remaining cream cheese mixture and dill with the shredded cucumbers, lemon zest and juice until blended.
  15. Fill buns with burgers, onion slices, cucumber slices and tzatziki sauce.
