Tzatziki Burgers
- 1 English cucumber
- 1 small red onion
- 1/2 cup Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese Product
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground pork
- 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill, divided
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tsp. zest and 1 Tbsp. juice from 1 lemon
- Heat barbecue to medium heat.
- Cut cucumber crosswise in half.
- Cut one piece lengthwise in half; shred the flesh.
- (You should have about 1/2 cup shredded cucumber.)
- Cut remaining cucumber piece into 16 slices.
- Cut onion crosswise in half; cut one piece into thin slices, then finely chop remaining piece.
- Mix cream cheese product and milk until well blended.
- Combine meat, chopped onions, 2 Tbsp.
- dill, garlic and 1/4 cup cream cheese mixture just until blended.
- Shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
- Grill 6 to 7 min.
- on each side or until done (160 degrees F), adding buns to the barbecue for the last 2 min.
- to toast cut sides.
- Meanwhile, mix remaining cream cheese mixture and dill with the shredded cucumbers, lemon zest and juice until blended.
- Fill buns with burgers, onion slices, cucumber slices and tzatziki sauce.
