Italian Lasagna(Microwave)
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. leaf basil
- 1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
- 3 c. Mozzarella cheese
- Cook noodles as directed on package; drain and set aside. Crumble ground beef into 2-quart casserole dish; add onions and microwave 11 to 12 minutes or until meat is set.
- Stir to break meat into pieces; drain.
- Stir in garlic, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, salt, parsley, basil and oregano; mix well.
- Assemble in two 2 or 3-quart glass baking dish by layering 1/3 of noodles, 1/3 of meat sauce and 1/2 of Mozzarella cheese between the 2 pans. Repeat with next layer of noodles and meat and cheese until all used up.
- Microwave bake at 400u0b0 for 12 to 14 minutes or until bubbly in center.
