Homemade Yangnyeom Ganjang (Korean Dipping Sauce)

  1. Combine the ingredients.
  2. Add the sesame oil and jam and mix well.
  3. Adding the oil at the end helps the salt and pepper blend evenly.
  4. The jam gives it just the right amount of tartness.
  5. I used yangnyeom ganjang to make Korean ginger pork.
  6. It was totally delicious!
  7. I made a spicy Korean fish stew with slices of mackerel.
  8. My fish-hating husband praised it and finished off his plate!
  9. I made a fried rice dish for lunch with goya (bitter melon), cucumbers, and eggs.
  10. Even my son who can't take much spice said it was tasty and ate it all up.
