Couscous Vegetable Garden Bento le Potager de Papy
- 50 grams Couscous (Semolina flour)
- 1/2 Cucumber (diced)
- 4 Cherry tomatoes (diced, with the juices)
- 1 handful Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 small spoonful Blend of dried herbs
- 30 grams Hot water
- 20 grams Olive oil
- 20 grams Lemon juice
- 1 spoonful Vegetable bouillon granules
- Mix the couscous in a bowl with the liquid ingredients.
- Mix all the other ingredients and set aside.
- The couscous will slowly absorb the liquids.
- Season with salt and pepper if needed, and pack in a bento box.
- Other main dishes are as important for well balanced meal.
- Make a potato salad by mixing steamed potatoes with "cornichons" (French pickles) and a dash of mayonnaise.
- Cut out a thick slice of cheese (P for "Papy" = Grandpa).
