Bacon Margherita Pizza

  1. Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces, cook over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Drain on papper towelling and discard excess fat.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Preheat oven to 400.
  5. Roll pizza dough onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray; pat into a 13 x 11-inch rectangle or a 12-inch circle.
  6. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes.
  7. Remove crust from oven, and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the crust.
  8. Arrange tomato slices and cheese slices on crust, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  9. Bake at 400 for 12 minutes or until cheese melts and crust is golden.
  10. Combine 1/2 teaspoon oil and vinegar, stirring with a whisk.
  11. Sprinkle pizza evenly with basil and bacon bits.
  12. Cut into slices and serve warm.
