Sweet and Sour Baked Beans

  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon (do not cook all the way crisp).
  2. Remove bacon from skillet, drain some of the grease and add the onion.
  3. Cook until translucent.
  4. Add brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar.
  5. Cook this sauce for 20 minutes, covered.
  6. Then add bacon and beans and mix.
  7. Transfer to a large baking dish and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
