Flora's Tequila Lime Chicken Sandwich

  1. Mix together your marinade, excluding the chicken breasts.
  2. If you are using thick chicken breasts I propose cutting in half or pounding down into a thinner piece.
  3. Put chicken breasts into the marinade and let sit overnight covered in the fridge.
  4. When you are ready to cook you can decide which way you want to cook your chicken.
  5. You can cook in a skillet on med-high heat for approximately 4 minutes a side, Grill for approximately 4 minutes a side, or bake in a 350F oven for about 15-20 minutes, or whenever your chicken is fully cooked.
  6. While the chicken is cooking you can sautee your peppers and onions, if you desire to add them to your dish.
  7. Mix up your mayo and have ready for assembly.
  8. I layered my sandwich by adding peppers and onions to the bottom of my bun
  9. Then added my chicken breast
  10. Topped with some cheese
  11. Then put my mayo covered bun on top.
