Amish Peach Pie
- 4 cups peaches peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 tablespoons tapioca
- 1 9" pie shell (9 inch) 9 inches unbaked
- 2 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 13 cup brown sugar
- Mix together gently, peaches, sugar, salt and tapioca.
- Let the flavors mingle for 5 minutes before spooning into pie shell.
- Mix crumb ingredients well and sprinkle over pie shell.
- Bake at 425 degrees F. for 45 to 50 minutes.
