Leola' Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 34 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar or 2 tablespoons aji mirin, which has a little different flavor
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 23 cup white sugar
- Place all ingredients in pot and mix.
- Water must be cold for the cornstarch.
- Bring to a boil.
- Shut off heat and move pan.
- Sauce will thicken as it sits.
- Serve fresh or freeze up to 3 months.
