Easy Chocolate Kahlua Mousse Recipe
- 1 (6 ounce.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pcs
- 2 1/2 tbsp. Kahlua (do not use more or possibly it will not set up)
- 2 whole Large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. heavy cream
- Heat together the semi-sweet chocolate pcs and the Kahlua over very low heat and set aside.
- (I use the microwave.)
- In blender, blend whole Large eggs, egg yolks, vanilla, and sugar.
- Blend for 2 min; add in heavy cream and blend for 1 minute longer.
- Add in chocolate and Kahlua mix and blend till smooth.
- Refrigerateabout 3 hrs.
- Makes about 5 champagne glasses.
- Serve with whipped cream.
- (I make ahead 1 day and put in Keebler chocolate pie crust.
- It's yummy!)
