Heirloom Tomato Ricotta Tart

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Defrost puff pastry according to package instructions.
  3. Place on a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat.
  4. Bake until golden brown, about 1012 minutes.
  5. Take out of the oven and cool completely.
  6. Combine ricotta cheese, parmesan, chives, Italian seasoning, onion and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Spread herb ricotta mixture onto cooled puff pastry leaving a 1-inch crust around the edges.
  9. Top with sliced heirloom tomatoes and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  10. Slice and serve immediately with basil for garnish, if desired.
