Fragrant Maple Cheese Nut Mochi
- 1 Mochi rice cakes
- 2 grams Salted butter
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 25 grams combined Walnuts and almonds (salted)
- 1 tbsp Maple syrup
- 10 grams Samsoe cheese (or pizza cheese, etc)
- 1 Cinnamon
- If you have time, dry roast and finely chop up the walnuts and almonds.
- Also finely chop up the cheese and set aside.
- Add the butter and mochi to a frying pan, and cook both sides well on medium heat.
- Make sure the center is cooked through.
- Once the mochi has cooked through, reduce the heat, pour the soy sauce over it evenly to make sure it's coated well.
- Next add the maple syrup and the ingredients from Step 1 and mix together.
- Once the cheese has melted, plate and top with cinnamon if you'd like.
