Taffy Apple Pie Recipe
- 2 cans Eagle Brand evaporated lowfat milk
- 3 apples
- 1 graham cracker crust pie shell
- Minced peanuts for topping
- Place 2 cans Eagle Brand lowfat milk unopened in boiling water, making sure both cans are covered totally over the top with water.
- Allow to boil for 3 hrs.
- Make sure you add in more water as it evaporates.
- Take out after 3 hrs and cold to touch.
- Then place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Cut up apples but do not peel, just core.
- Place in pie shell and put evaporated lowfat milk over.
- Add in minced peanuts on top.
