Sourdough Nut Bread Recipe

  1. Heat butter.
  2. Add in other ingredients.
  3. Knead.
  4. Divide into 10 balls.
  5. Let rest 15 min-cover with towel.
  6. Roll thin.
  7. Dot with butter.
  8. Fill.
  9. Roll into a log.
  10. Brush with beaten egg.
  11. Prick with fork.
  12. Bake 375 for 30 min.
  13. Freezes well.
  14. Fill with minced nuts, brown sugar, raisins, dates, cinnamon, sugar, etc.
  15. This is a family tradition.
  16. We make it during the holidays.
  17. It is wrapped in foil, decorated with colored ribbon and given as gifts.
