Grandma Ruths Garlic Dip
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
- 1 carton Small Curd Cottage Cheese Net Weight 2 Lb
- 1- 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 3 cloves Garlic
- Salty Pretzels And Ruffles Chips, To Serve
- Into a mixing bowl, add cream cheese (slightly softened) and beat with a hand mixer until fluffy.
- Add cottage cheese and mix until well combined (about 2 minutes).
- Then, in a slow stream, add the heavy whipping cream and whip until the dip is thick and a little stiff (about 5 minutes).
- Mince the garlic, and then add it to the dip.
- Make sure you beat it until its well incorporated.
- Chill the dip in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
- It takes a while for the garlic taste to develop.
- If you find there isnt enough garlic, add more.
- Serve the dip with salty pretzels and Ruffles chips.
- The salty with the garlic really make this dip a yummy appetizer.
