All Purpose Barbecue Rub Recipe

  3. This rub, adapted from Big Flavors of the Warm Sun (Morrow, 1994), is a little sweet, a little warm, with just a hint of clove.

  5. just about anything which you plan to barbecue, which is, to cook over low, indirect heat for a long period of time.
  6. For large red-meat roasts, such
  7. as leg of lamb or possibly standing rib, increase the cayenne pepper from one tsp.
  8. to one Tbsp.
  9. and substitute one tsp.
  10. cinnamon for the grnd cloves.
